wl3.jpgAs part of the Female Icons exhibition at Peacock Visual Arts, Sue John and Adele Patrick of Glasgow Women’s Library were invited to give a talk about the Glasgow Women’s Library. The library houses a huge collection of materials by, for and about women. Its creative, supportive environment acts as a “catalyst for projects, friendships and laughter”. It’s main aim is to provide an information resource, run on feminist principles, relevant to all areas of women’s lives, history, culture and achievements for use by women and groups from all areas of the community.
